World Environment Day 2026

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Tingrai observed World Environment Day on 5th June with a plantation drive, an engaging debate, and a thought-provoking skit on environmental conservation. The programme encouraged students to develop environmental awareness and contribute towards a greener and more sustainable future.

NCC Cadets of VKV Tingrai participated in the CATC Camp at JNV Dibrugarh

 NCC Cadets of VKV Tingrai participated in the 10 Days CATC Camp at JNV Dibrugarh and secured 1st Prize in Instrumental Music. 

Beyond academics, the camp provided valuable learning experiences through various activities conducted by Army personnel, NDRF, Fire Service personnel, the Medical Team, NCC staff, CTOs and ANOs. It was truly a memorable and enriching learning journey.

On 29th May 2026, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai had the privilege of welcoming Mananeeya Hanumantha Rao Ji, Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. During his visit, he interacted with the teachers and shared his valuable thoughts on education and values. He also spent some joyful moments with the students, engaging them through a lively and inspiring interaction. His visit left a positive impression on both teachers and students and was a memorable experience for all.

Gold Award for commendable efforts in promoting Road Safety Awareness

VKV Tingrai has been conferred with the Gold Award for its commendable efforts in promoting Road Safety awareness under an initiative organised by the Ministry of Roads, Government of India.

As part of the programme, online awareness sessions were conducted and road safety pledges were undertaken by the students. This recognition reflects the collective commitment and active participation of the entire VKV Tingrai family towards fostering responsible road safety practices.
