Srimanta Sankardev’s Punya Tithi was observed at, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai. Teachers spoke about the life, teachings, contributions and legacy of Srimanta Sankardev.
Students of the Vidyalaya presented Borgeet, adding a devotional touch to the observance.

Universal Brotherhood Day 2026
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day with great enthusiasm on 11th September 2026.
Shri Subhash Joshi, Pracharak, RSS, graced the programme as the Chief Guest. The Principal of the vidyalaya delivered a thoughtful and inspiring Welcome Address. Shri Mahendra Sonwal Sir, VMC Member, was also present. A major highlight of the celebration was the enthusiastic and wholehearted participation of the parents. They took part in a variety of activities with great energy, confidence and creativity. The parents presented a beautiful skit and patriotic group songs and actively participated in the Extempore Speech Competition, Chicago Speech Competition and Fireless Cooking Competition. Their vibrant involvement and impressive performances added colour and warmth to the celebration, making the programme truly memorable.
