Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026

The students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai, organised a joyful Teachers’ Day celebration. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Principal.

Class X (Batch 2026-27) had done the entire planning for the event. The students took up the role of acting teachers and conducted classes for the day. The best-performing acting teachers were awarded prizes for their efforts. The cultural programme included dance, songs, orchestra, and speeches. The hostel students also presented a vibrant Wangcho tribal dance, adding a beautiful touch of cultural diversity to the celebration. A special PPT highlighting the qualities and unique traits of the teachers was also presented.

A fun game was organised for the teachers, where they had to guess their fellow teachers from their childhood photographs. The teachers were also felicitated as a token of love and respect.

Overall, it was a joyful and memorable celebration for everyone.

Janmashtami Celebration 2026.

 Janmashtami Celebration

Janmashtami was celebrated joyfully at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai. The students of the primary classes took part enthusiastically in the programme and presented a skit, dances and songs. A Matka Phod activity was also organised, which brought great excitement and joy among the students.

430ᵗʰ death anniversary of Mahapurush Sri Sri Madhavdev

 Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai, observed the 430th death anniversary of Mahapurush Sri Sri Madhavdev on 1st September 2026.

Teachers of the Vidyalaya highlighted the life and contributions of Mahapurush Sri Sri Madhavdev. Students presented melodious Borgeets, adding a devotional touch to the programme. The observance helped the students appreciate the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Assam.
