Counselling Programme for Parents on Parenting

 On 24th March 2026, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai organised a Counselling Programme for Parents on Parenting, led by Dr. Lakhya Jyoti Das, Social Psychologist, Civil Hospital, Tinsukia, who was accompanied by Ms. Dibyadip Tanti, a member of Manohitam Foundation NGO. 

Su  Meera Kulkarni Didi, Joint Secretary of VKSPV, was also present in the programme.

The programme aimed to raise awareness about effective parenting and children’s well-being. Around 200 parents attended, and the session was informative and beneficial.



Matri-Pitri Puja and Utsarga Samaroh 2026

 Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai conducted the Matri-Pitri Puja and Utsarga Samaroh on 3rd February , 2026. The head of the institution delivered a heartfelt welcome address and spoke beautifully on मातृ-सम्मान, संस्कार, and the values that shape a child’s life, warmly welcoming all parents.

The puja was conducted by Shri Santosh Dubey Sir, Sanskrit Teacher of VKV Umrangso, and the ceremony became deeply emotional and meaningful. The Utsarga Samaroh and the speech on the significance of the day inspired everyone, while the experience sharing by parents, students, and teachers touched hearts and filled the atmosphere with gratitude and positivity.

Surya Namaskar Maha-Yajna 2026

A disciplined body leads to a disciplined mind, and Surya Namaskar is the first step towards self-mastery. With this noble vision, our school organized a Surya Namaskar Maha Yajna to promote physical fitness, mental discipline, and spiritual awareness among students.

Students and teachers participated with great enthusiasm and devotion, performing Surya Namaskar in a synchronized and peaceful atmosphere.
