Today, the students, teachers, and staff of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Tingrai came together to honor the life and legacy of Srimanta Sankardev — the saint, reformer, poet, and cultural icon of Assam.

Independence Day 2025
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Tingrai marked Independence Day with great enthusiasm and many versatile programs — from vibrant cultural performances to inspiring speeches and patriotic songs. The tricolour soared high as students, teachers, and guests came together to honour our nation’s journey and cherish the spirit of freedom.
Raksha Bandhan 2025
Today, our Vidyalaya was filled with joy, love, and the timeless spirit of Raksha Bandhan! Students came together to celebrate the beautiful bond of protection and affection between brothers and sisters.
VKV Tingrai Students visited Duliajan Police Station, Jalakiyapara L.P School, Tengakhat Police Station, 19th Assam Police Battalion, at Wilton, Tingrai Charali Market and Police Station to celebrate the occasion. Because we believe in nurturing values that go beyond textbooks. Raksha Bandhan reminded us the importance of love, unity, and mutual respect in building a strong community.
International Yoga Day was Celebrated on 21st June 2025.

International Yoga Day was Celebrated on 21st June 2025, across multiple locations. Monalisa Didi, Amit Sir, and Leepika Didi led yoga sessions at various venues. VKV Tingrai organized a session at Wilton Battalion Camp with 130 participants, while our school conducted yoga at Dirial Model H.S School with 50 participants. Additionally, 350 students and staff from VKV Tingrai actively participated, promoting wellness and unity through yoga.
