The day celebration was started with a competition among the teachers where teacher had spoken about Swami Vivekananda and about his contribution. After the competition all the teachers of VKV Tingrai went to Wilton Battalion Camp. There quiz and patriotic song competition was organized by VKV Tingrai among the Javans of police force. The winners were given award by Principal sir and Chief guest Sri T.Thappa. Another quiz, drawing and patriotic song competition were organized on Girls High School, Tengakhat.  Speeches were given by respected Principal sir and the In charge of the school.

The celebration had started with lighting of the lamp by the principal sir along with Mangalacharan and inauguration of indigenous fair on Shankardev inside school library. Speech was given by the teacher and students. Song, naam were done individually and in group by both students and their parents. At the end prasad distribution was done.

The day was celebrated in a devotional way. Group dance by the students of KG and class I had performed on devotional songs. An activity "Go As You Like"- on Mythological character was also performed by the students of class VI to X. Script on the childhood of Lord Krishna was played by primary students. One of the teachers spoke on the importance of the day. Parents were also present on this day. Dahi handi competition also successfully organized and performed by students.

Both the observations were started with singing of Mangalacharan followed by lighting of the lamp by Principal sir.

During the observation of  Madhavdeb Tithi, Assamese prayer and Diha naam  was presented by the primary section students. One of the teachers spoke about the importance of the day. Prasad was also distributed after the program.

A group song was presented on Eknathji by the students. Speech on his contribution towards society and on his principles and learning was given by one of the teachers. A speech was also delivered by a student on Eknathji’s  life.
